Return of the Inferior

Sun May 3, 2009, 10:48 PM
I've had this plotbunny of doing a story about a group of super-powered people who all have absolutely useless\weak powers and settle minor stuff with "interesting" results. Because of this they really have to rely on teamwork, work five times as hard and rely on weapons and other talents to get them by. Group consists of a basic sketch of...

Miracle: A sweet-natured Bahai (sp) girl who can summon aid if she prays uninterupted for five minutes (if she is, she has to start over) though the result is beyond her control from a dragon temporarily arriving to take out enemies to their leader having a change of heart to the floors melting to hamper their movement.

Disney: Though singing, she has the power to summon animals to help her out in a jam as long as what she's requesting isn't violent (like cleaning a house, making a dress, untieing binds, fixing a car) and she helps out in some way.

Impact: A big, teddy bear of a man who can never be hurt no matter how high of a fall\jump he suffers from. So he can jump off the Sears Tower and land on his feet without a scratch.

Sherlock: An esccentric detective type who can levitate but no more than higher than two feet.

Retro: When a mad scientist's experiment acsidently bring a character from a cheesy 70's cop show to life and gives him the power to exhale a pink, sweet-smelling smoke that makes the victim go into sneezing fits that last for five minutes. Of course he hates his powers for being unmanly and has to make sense of a world that's a lot different than his.

Wall: A former member who is immune to damage as long as he stands still, he finally makes it into a legitimate team by seducing with the founder's step-daughter. But he still makes time to visit the "little people who gave him his start" (or in his case rub it into their faces how much better he is than they are.)

I was thinking of the series being somewhat light-hearted with the occassional serious moment (like helping out when an earthquake hits the city) and the cast getting their first memeber who has powers that actually are usefull and how that effects them as a team. It's just something I wanted to get down and share with you guys.

Hey thanks for the Deviant Watch! :D
You're welcome. You got some really funny stuff, especally the Punch-Out stuff and thanks for the return watch. BTW I discovered this awesome Punch-Out song last night ([link]) which is based off the first game.
Thank you very much! Like I said I have a lot of funny and "weird" ideas XD. Oh yeah I heard the Punch-Out song you had the link to and I say it's really catchy, but there was a lot of "inappropriate language"...hehe...
As I said before, funny and "Weird" ideas rule. But the naughty words rather work for the song and you gotta love Mike Tyson getting into the act.
Hi, i got a few of oldies of my version of 007.
